Stuart Storey
Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, I spent 25 years building a career in the consumer goods industry working on everything from soap powder to ice cream, ultimately becoming the CEO of a cheese business.
In 2020, I had a midlife renewal which enabled me to re-design my working life focussing on the things I love to do rather than the things I thought I should do. I now have a portfolio career as an artist (StuART), business coach and mentor (Vibrant Perspective) and as freelance cycling guide – it’s a fantastic mix and I love it!
I work from home in Hampton Hill, where I live with my wife, 2 kids and our dog – the area is a fantastic inspiration with the Royal Parks, River Thames and London all on our doorstep.
I am a passionate cyclist, and love anything outdoors which forms the inspiration for much of my art. I tend to work in acrylics, and love to work with bold, bright colours and like to play with perspective taking the viewer on a journey through the picture.
I am proud to be the ‘Official artist’ & ‘Friend of the Fred Whitton Challenge’
