Lynda Minter
Lynda Minter is a London- based artist who has an interest in capturing impressions of how the landscape and cityscapes appear in a fleeting moment, bring to life the complexity of how light and colour transforms shapes and mood which she finds exciting.
Her paintings are impressionistic and colourful combining thick brushstrokes with rich colour to capture the vivacity of Britain’s varied landscape: recording over her long career the ever-changing skyline of London and the river Thames.
After studying Fine Art at St Martin’s School of Art in 1984 where she studied sculpture and a few years later make the transition into oils.
